Welcome to Milliaire Winery

Milliaire Winery is a small family-owned winery founded by Liz and Steve Millier in 1983. They started their venture in the cellar of their former home in Murphys, CA. In 1990, the winery relocated to a historic Flying A gas station on Main Street in Murphys. The entire building was utilized for daily operations, with barrels stored in the old car repair bays, wine tanks in the backyard, bottling taking place in the front yard, and the tasting room located in the office. There were humorous speculations about the contents of "those tanks," and a friend of the Milliers' playfully named it the "Roadside Chateau."
